FREE, an acronym for Front Range Exceptional Equestrians, is a 501 (c) (3) organization based in Fort Collins, Colo., that uses horses to improve the quality of life of four distinct populations:

FREE’s Mission Statement: To allow riders with special needs to enjoy the benefits and freedom of horsemanship at an affordable cost and to use horses to help veterans, first responders and at-risk youth
find hope and overcome challenges.

FREE is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International center—and one of just six PATH International Premier-accredited riding centers in Colorado.

FREE follows PATH Intl. Standards that exist to provide consistent safe provisions for participants, highly-regarded facility and program management processes and humane treatment for working with equines. Our center meets PATH Int. Standards for adaptive horsemanship, and FREE is one of just six PATH Premier-Accredited Centers in Colorado.
